BELOFOUR is a band consisting of four accordion players from Vienna: Paul Schuberth/accordion Pigini), Nikola Zarić (accordion Sabbatini), Stefan Heckel/accordion Pigini) and Stefan Sterzinger/accordion Victoria).
The quartet was founded in 2014 as a project commissioned by the International Accordion Festival Vienna. Belofour defines itself as a group deeply dedicated to contemporary artistic and entertaining music, emphasizing energy and joy of living. The musicians allow their diverse biographies to merge into each other in a joint celebration of musical material that is full of virtuosity, with shorter vocal passages meant to express attitude, but also amuzing variety.
They have released two albums so far. The first, Belofour, was released in 2014, and after a creative break and various difficulties during the corona virus pandemic, in February 2022, they released their second album, Suiten Suite, for Bayla Records and Galileo Music Communication.
