German ensemble Zeitkratzer, which has been in existence for 15 years, is unique for its musical programmes, offering a perverse subversion of musical genres
– Keiji Haino meets Karlheinz Stockhausen  meets Whitehouse  meets Terre  Thaemlitz meets Iannis Xenakis  meets Lou Reed. Their cooperation with Svetlana
Spajić, resulting from mutual  musical/artistic attraction, has been in the works for several  years now, and was first presented  to the public in 2014 with a joint
performance of Reihnold’s compositions titled “The Songs” in the festival in Wroclaw. In their Belgrade concert they will present the First World War songs, mostly from Svetlana’s
native area of Podrinje. This concert is also a preparation for their Berlin performance that will take place in January 2016, with the whole ensemble on stage.
The lineup includes Dragana Tomić from Belgrade, who is singing old songs for two voices with Svetlana, and diple and gusle player Obrad Milić from Žegar.
The concert in Belgrade will include  a premiere performance of Obrad Milić’s gusle song “Assassination in Sarajevo”, composed in the manner of best classical
epic songs. Obrad received this song from his father Bogdan, who was a famous gusle player in Žegar area at the beginning of the 20th century.

Self Portrait Filip  Glas/Philip Glass – 20 Etudes for piano

1994, Philip Glass resolved to become a better pianist, setting to work on a series of short compositions that would help him hone his skills at the keyboard.  Two decades

in the making, his 20 exquisite etudes have recently been completed.

Nada Kolundžija is an internationally renowned concert pianist and passionate promoter of contemporary music. Over a career spanning more than four  decades,Ms. Kolundzija
has performed as a soloist and as a chamber music collaborator in countless concerts at home and abroad, been featured as a leading national artist on Serbian radio and television
broadcasts, and won national and international awards and recognition for her artistic achievements in classical and contemporary. Kolundžija is responsible for introducing
her audience to her diverse repertoire includes works by Schoenberg, Feldman, Xsenakis, Berio, Messiaen, Cage, Satie, Kagel, Stockhausen and many other contemporary composers.
Her concert resume includes many Serbian and world premieres, and she personally commissioned or inspired the creation  of significant new works by Serbian and international composers

Branka Parlić – Taking on the task of presenting the cycle of the legendary Phillip Glass’ Metamorphosis, is probably the most challenging task in the sphere of contemporary minimalism
since Parlic’s classical undertaking of Erik Satie’s piano pieces in the 1986s. The album which Radio Novi Sad, M Production released back then, called Initiés, was the first album that contained
Satie’s compositions ever recorded in former Yugoslavia. BrankaParlić premiered the Glass’s piano pieces in Novi Sad in 2004. She regularly performs solo recitals in the Western Balkans

as well as in the rest of Europe, but also holds  lectures on the New Music. Besides the solo piano repertoire,  Parlić also performs film scores, often performing  live music  with the broadcasting
of original silent films, as well as video works.

Nataša Penezić had her debut at the age of 15 with the CREDO orchestra in Moscow. She already performed in Serbia, Czech Republic, Great Britain,  Sweden, Netherlands, Germany and Italy. Her great
interest in music of the 20th and 21st Century music has led her to different artistic collaborations. Her chamber music projects include a duo with a Serbian clarinetist  Vasa Vučković – “Duo Vers la Flamme”,
duo with a Cuban violinist Lissy Abreu Ruiz, harpsichord/ piano duo with Sofija Perović and a recently founded platform “SYNC Center” which she is representing alongside  Serbian visual artist Ana Novaković

In the framework of EASTERN WAVES project organized by Foundation 4.99, the young generation of polish experimentalists, Mirt and Sultan Hagavik as well as the Norwegian
voice virtuoso Maja S.K. Ratkje join in to shed the new light on the history of Polish and Norwegian cooperation within boundaries  of electronic music.

Mirt – “Solitaire“ A solo composition being a re-interpretation of the legendary piece “Solitaire” by Arne Nordheim. Mirt’s departure point were various ways of slowing down the original
piece of the Norwegian electronic music master.
An open framework to improvise in search of bridges between the tape music of the legendary  Polish composer,  sound engineer and the father of Polish lo-fi ambient Eugeniusz Rudnik
and live electronic and voice music of Maja S.K. Ratkje.
Sultan Hagavik – “Pole Reports From Space” Crazy improvised tornado based on samples taken from the archives of Polish Radio Experimental Studio. Tape duo Sultan Hagavik made

its own statement in approaching the archive, far from its classical composers’ methods and close to its science- fiction film soundtracks tradition.

Supported by a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants and co-financed by the Polish funds.

Founded in September 2010, the IMO is a large ensemble of improvisers gathering together around 45 musicians from all over Switzerland and further afield. Born out of the amorphous Insub. label
and collective that has been publishing and promoting the varied forms of experimental improvisation since 2006. The orchestra aims to develop collective listening and playing, highlighting
microclimatic sonorities, the addition of subtle layers and working towards a single sound which is driven by a shared idea carried by the impressive group of musicians making up the orchestra.
With over 20 concerts and two residencies under its belt the IMO has been able to weave a unique and astonishing path. The IMO tends to a way of working where instruments lose their traditional
function and sound to become abstract sounding objects establishing a non-hierarchical relation between them.
